A world treatment is a general analysis of each environment within a script, whereas a script treatment is a more detailed analysis of each scene and major moment. Each of these documents incorporates text and images to effectively show color, atmosphere, and emotion in a more tangible manner, prior to technical rehearsals. These documents also help establish a vocabulary and style that the creative team can use as foundation in conversations leading up to the technical rehearsal.
